North Georgetown wins Mash dance competition for 10th year

STRIKING a dramatic tableau, dancers of North Georgetown Secondary School celebrate their win yesterday in the Mashramani 11 - 13 interpretive dance competition.
It is reported to be the school's 10th consecutive win in this category.
The title of their piece was `Culturpot', and they performed it at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall on Homestretch Avenue.

CELEBRATING with impish smiles are the four pupils of Kingston Nursery School who were adjudged winners in the Georgetown leg of the Children's Mash Calypso competitions for primary and secondary schools held yesterday at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall on Homestretch Avenue.

The children of St Agnes Nursery School were accorded second place while Ascension Nursery gained third place.

The winning piece was entitled `Live Together'. Above the jubilant quartet, (from left) Makada Goodluck, Candy Moore, Osafa Anthony and Rhonda Abrams, strikes a toothy pose for cameraman Rajesh Chintaman.
